Job summary

The Process Engineer at J T, reporting to the Director of Engineering, supports the design, development, and execution of manufacturing processes for PCB and electro‑mechanical assemblies. You will lead process development, NPI support, and continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating with quality, maintenance, and production to maintain a steady, efficient production flow.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting in real time, drafting SOPs, validating new equipment, and delivering project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field).
• Strong mechanical foundation with emphasis on automation and basic electrical principles.
• Proficiency in reading engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes and SOPs for PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting during manufacturing to minimize downtime.
• Analyze PCB layout data and panelization for design and process compliance.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and specs for modifications and approval.
• Design or fabricate fixtures and tooling to streamline assembly workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis on assembly failures and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality on inspections, repairs, and rework.
• Support NPI and equipment validation.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and budgets; report variances.
