Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Chemical Engineer for Starlink's PCB production. You will spearhead state-of-the-art production processes for PCBs, design environmentally friendly recycling strategies, and become a multidisciplinary expert in PCB fabrication for high-volume manufacturing.

You will own PCB production processes from machine design to hands-on DOE, and collaborate with senior leadership during critical design phases as the Bastrop factory grows to become the largest PCB facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field required.
• 1+ year experience in chemical engineering design or process implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain PCB manufacturing processes and facilities.
• Analyze production processes from first principles.
• Design DOEs to diagnose and fix manufacturing issues.
• Perform defect analysis to improve yields.
• Plan projects with budgets and cost/benefit analyses.
• Activate and test machines with a small team.
