Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is looking for a PCB Designer to support the design and release of rigid, rigid-flex, and multilayer PCBs. You will collaborate with electrical, RF, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturable designs that meet performance and cost targets.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience (8+ years if no degree) and strong proficiency in Siemens Xpedition and Cadence Allegro, with knowledge of IPC standards and high-speed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years of relevant experience (8+ years if no degree).
Experience with high-speed digital design, controlled-impedance routing, and differential-pair layout.

Responsibilities

Create PCB layouts from schematics using industry-standard tools.
Develop fabrication and assembly documentation including drawings, stackups, and notes.
Perform design rule checks, manage constraints, and participate in design reviews.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers to ensure PCB integration in enclosures and assemblies.
Support component placement, routing strategies, and signal-integrity considerations across digital, power, analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs.
Create PCB layouts using Siemens Xpedition Layout.
Interpret electrical schematics and fabrication drawings; adhere to IPC standards.
