Job summary

Responsibilities include placing and routing with strict adherence to specs, generating fabrication documentation, and supporting design changes throughout the project lifecycle. Strong ECAD and Xpedition experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; or 4+ years with graduate degree; 10+ years if no degree.
• Experience in PCB design and ECAD tool use; Siemens Xpedition preferred.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-2221/2222/6012/ A-600/ A-610).

Responsibilities

• Place and route PCB components to meet design requirements and specifications.
• Ensure manufacturing and assembly requirements are met.
• Create drawings and documentation to facilitate fabrication and assembly.
• Rework PCB designs when engineering changes occur and assist with issue resolution.
• Create ECAD footprints and schematic symbols for design projects.
