Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Design in Alpharetta, GA to join a product development team designing Printed Circuit Boards for multiple programs. You will work with layout designers, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to deliver reliable, manufacturable PCB designs that meet program requirements.

The role requires working with Siemens Xpedition, interpreting schematics, and ensuring IPC Class 3 compliance, while contributing to a secure and cost-effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design Printed Circuit Boards using Siemens Xpedition CAD software.
• Produce and release layout files with fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Interpret schematic and mechanical CAD data and lay out PCBs per customer requests.
• Collaborate with the ECAD Design team and internal engineering customers.
• Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to ensure mechanical accuracy.
• Ensure PCB layout accuracy and compliance with IPC Class 3 standards and follow established L3Harris design and fabrication guidelines.
