Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Camden, NJ, is seeking an Electrical Design Drafter to join the integrated development team. You will design complex multi-layer SMT/PWB boards, manage part geometries, prepare schematics, and document drawings to support defense programs.

The role requires proficiency with Mentor Graphics Expedition and CES, experience with high-speed PWB design, IPC standards, and US security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Associates in CAD required.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition and CES.
• Experience managing a reusable electrical part library.
• Experience capturing electrical part geometries and symbols.
• Experience with high-speed PWB design requirements.
• Experience with IPC standards for PWB design and assembly.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex multi-layer PWB designs with placement and routing.
• Prepare schematics, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with integrated development team to deliver designs.
• Follow military and commercial PWB design standards.
