Ashton North LLC seeks a PCB Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL to design sophisticated multilayer PCBs for rugged embedded computing platforms used in defense and industrial environments.

You will collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver manufacturable layouts, ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and high reliability across harsh operating conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing complex high-density multilayer PCBs for aerospace/defense/high-performance electronics.
• 2+ years of professional PCB layout using enterprise tools, preferably Mentor Xpedition.
• Experience translating schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts with hardware engineers.
• Strong knowledge of SI/PI, DFM/DFT concepts.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR4/DDR5, PCIe Gen4/Gen5, Ethernet).
• Knowledge of HDI technologies and multi-layer stack-ups.
• Experience with BGA/QFN packages and rigid-flex designs.
