Created Solutions, based in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer focused on PCB design and hardware development for defense applications. The role emphasizes close collaboration with customers, engineering teams, and manufacturing partners to deliver safety-critical hardware from prototyping through testing.

The position requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, DoD security eligibility, and the ability to work on-site in Huntsville.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience with hardware design.
• Experience with PCB design, schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging of hardware.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, and test docs.
• Willingness to work on-site with customers in Huntsville, AL.
• U.S. Citizenship and DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify electronic hardware and PCBA for defense applications.
• Do schematic capture and PCB layout; select components.
• Assemble, integrate, test hardware prototypes.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers for PCB fabrication and assembly.
• Prepare build docs and technical requirements for manufacturing.
• Perform electrical checkout, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing.
• Use lab equipment to characterize hardware.
• Support hardware qualification and environmental tests.
• Support government range and live-fire test activities.
• Maintain design docs and configuration control.
• Present design status to customers and review boards.
