Job summary

FCI Basics seeks a driven Application Development Manager to cultivate new opportunities and grow strategic customer relationships across North America. You will interface with engineering, product marketing, and sales teams to advance interconnect solutions and lead design reviews with customers.

The role requires deep PCB design expertise, tool proficiency (Altium, Cadence/OrCAD, PADS, KiCad) and hands-on prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB design and development for interconnects and hardware.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools for schematic capture and layout.
• Strong communication skills to interface with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions addressing customer needs and technical requirements.
• Lead design reviews and present concepts to customers.
• Prototype, test, debug, and troubleshoot hardware.
• Differentiate products with technical improvements and VOC input.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
