Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a PCB Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to provide compassionate, experience-based support across Pennsylvania. You will help individuals overcome mental health obstacles by sharing your lived experience, offering hope and practical strategies to promote recovery and growth.

The role includes documenting via iPad, eligibility for a $2,000 sign-on bonus if PCB certification is active, and options for full-time or part-time employment.

Qualifications

• Active CPS certification through PCB is required.
• Must attest to having a mental health diagnosis and be in recovery to support others.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months of consecutive work/volunteer experience or 12 months in last 3 years.
• Ability to use an iPad for documentation.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
