Job summary

Peerstar LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking Certified Peer Specialists (CPS) to provide peer support and empowerment for individuals with mental health challenges. This role relies on your lived experience to inspire hope, build trust, and help peers progress in their recovery journey.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities; active PCB CPS certification is required. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available if your PCB certification is active.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPS certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to use an iPad for documentation.
• Must have at least 6 months of consecutive employment or 12 months in the last 3 years of paid/volunteer work.

Responsibilities

• Inspire hope through 1:1 peer support using lived experience.
• Promote empowerment and self-determination for peers.
• Build trust and provide tools to help others in their recovery journey.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
