Job summary

Old Dominion University is seeking a Procurement Officer II to manage the PCard program, ensure compliance with Commonwealth and University policies, and provide ongoing training. Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of state procurement laws, rules and regulations.
• Experience with procurement software and information systems.
• Proven ability to manage moderate-dollar procurements and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to analyze complex specifications and prepare technical documents.
• Strong communication skills and reporting abilities.
• Experience in government procurement environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages PCard program and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Performs monthly audits and provides training and technical assistance.
• Analyzes procurement programs to identify outreach and supplier-diversity opportunities.
• Develops and monitors contracts and compliance strategies.
