Job summary

Asbury Chandler Estates is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, med administration, and adherence to care protocols. The role requires attention to detail and flexibility for schedules including weekends and holidays.

Starting as a PCA with opportunities for growth within Asbury Chandler Estates, candidates should have a high school diploma and medication administration training; prior experience with older adults is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus.
• 1 year experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
• Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
• Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
• Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
• Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors
