Job summary

Asbury Chandler Estates is seeking a PCA to support residents with daily living activities, medication administration, and compassionate care. The role offers full-time and part-time options with shift differentials and opportunities for advancement into a Certified Medication Technician through internal training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus.
• 1 year experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
• Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
• Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
• Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
• Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course

1 year experience or training with older adults or retirement housing

Hours and Pay:

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
• Full Time: 3pm - 11:30pm + $0.75 Shift diff
• Full Time: 11:00pm - 7:30am + $0.50 Shift diff
• Part Time: 7am - 3:30pm
