Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic supportive care under the supervision of an RN or Care Manager. You will collect vital signs, document data, and report findings to the care team.
The role requires a fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, active Ohio CNA, and CPR (BLS) certification, plus one year of hospital patient care experience. 0.6–0.9 FTE with night shift 7:00pm–7:30am and every-other-weekend work; differential pay applies.
0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) OR 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week). Night Shift-7:00pm-7:30am, every other weekend required. Position starts at $19.10/hr, pay to commensurate with experience. $2.30/hr night shift differential, $1.80 weekend shift differential.
Performs basic supportive care to specified patients and families under the direction and supervision of an RN or Care Manager. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN or Care Manager.
Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience, required.
One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or certification, required.
