Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our pediatric care team on the day shift. This 0.9 FTE role (36 hours per week) requires every-other weekend and holiday coverage, with a starting pay of $19.10 per hour plus night and weekend differentials.
You will assist RNs and Care Managers, collect vital signs, document data, and help maintain patient safety and a clean, stocked environment. HIPAA compliance and professional conduct are essential.
0.9 FTE (36 hours per week). Day Shift-7:00am-7:30pm, every other weekend required and holiday requirement.
Position starts at $19.10/hr, pay to commensurate with experience. $2.30/hr night shift differential, $1.80 weekend shift differential.
Performs basic supportive care to specified patients and families under the direction and supervision of an RN or Care Manager. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN or Care Manager.
Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience, required.
Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience, required. Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider), required.
One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or certification, required.
