Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for night shift support. The role involves basic patient care, vital signs collection, and assisting RNs and care managers. Night differential and weekend differential apply; 0.6–0.9 FTE with weekend requirements. Requires CNA, CPR, and fundamentals training with HIPAA compliance.
Experience in a hospital setting and strong communication skills are essential for pediatric and adult patients. EOE.
0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) OR 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week). Night Shift-7:00pm-7:30am, every other weekend required. Position starts at $19.10/hr, pay to commensurate with experience. $2.30/hr night shift differential, $1.80 weekend shift differential.
Performs basic supportive care to specified patients and families under the direction and supervision of an RN or Care Manager. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN or Care Manager.
Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience, required.
One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or certification, required.
