Job summary

Spring Arbor Cottages of Fredericksburg in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant / Caregiver (PCA/CNA) for 2nd or 3rd shift to support residents with evenings and overnight routines.

You will provide hands-on personal care, document care per plan, and collaborate with a caring team to keep residents safe and comfortable. CNA welcome but not required; dementia training and background screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Willing to work part-time on 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification welcome but not required for all Resident Assistant positions.
• Background screening may be required.

What you’ll bring

• A dependable, compassionate approach to caregiving
• Comfort providing hands‑on personal care
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, or memory care experience preferred
• Ability to complete required dementia training and background screening
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

CNA certification is welcome, but it is not required for all Resident Assistant/PCA positions. Experience as a PCA, CNA, Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, or Caregiver is a plus.
