Job summary

VXForward is seeking a Technology Operations Analyst to perform large-scale imaging and configuration of Windows 11 laptops/desktops on site in the Phoenix office. You will use enterprise tools like Microsoft Intune Autopilot to apply baselines and required line-of-business apps for end users.

You will also manage legacy Windows 10 devices, assist with hardware deployment, document activities, and collaborate with the onsite Lead Engineer, IT Operations, and End User Support teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Imaging Windows 11 laptops/desktops with enterprise tools.
• Configure devices to baseline Windows 11 with LOB apps.
• Handle legacy Windows 10 reimaging/upgrade per refresh cycles.

Responsibilities

• Imaging and configuring Windows devices using enterprise tools.
• Prepare devices with standardized baselines and user/department apps.
• Support hardware deployment: unboxing, RAM/SSD upgrades, peripherals.
• Manage legacy devices for reuse or upgrade per upgrade cycles.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate where needed.
• Document imaging/deployment activities in IT ticketing and asset systems.
• Coordinate with onsite Lead Engineer, IT Ops, and End User Support teams.
• Adhere to imaging and fulfillment workflows and security standards.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Imaging and Configuration: Execute large-scale imaging and configuration of Windows 11 laptops and desktops using enterprise-standard tools such as Microsoft Intune Autopilot.
• System Preparation: Configure devices with standardized Windows 11 baselines, integrating customized line-of-business (LOB) applications according to user or departmental requirements.
• Hardware Deployment Support: Prepare systems for deployment, including unboxing, boxing, hardware upgrades (RAM, SSD/HDD), and peripheral setup to ensure readiness for end users.
• Legacy Device Management: Manage the intake and processing of legacy Windows 10 systems for reuse, reimaging, or upgrade in accordance with enterprise refresh cycles.
• Troubleshooting and Escalation: Diagnose and resolve routine hardware and software issues; elevate complex problems to higher-level engineers or appropriate IT teams for resolution.
• Documentation and Tracking: Maintain detailed records of imaging, configuration, and deployment activities in the organization’sIT ticketing and asset management systems.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the onsite Lead Engineer, IT Operations, and End User Support teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of new systems.
• Process Compliance: Adhere to established operational procedures for PC imaging, configuration requests, and fulfillment workflows.
• Security and Quality Assurance: Ensure all devices and configurations comply withenterprise security protocols, patching standards, and quality control benchmarks.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve imaging efficiency, reduce rework, and enhance user satisfaction through process and tool optimization.
