Job summary

The Arc Ontario is seeking a PC Technician to provide hands-on support for computer hardware, software, and networks across multiple locations. You will assist staff with troubleshooting and training, set up new equipment, and maintain servers and AV systems to support mission-driven work.

Ideal candidates bring hardware/software experience and comfort with Windows, Office 365, and networking basics, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the agency.

Qualifications

• Two years of hardware and software support experience preferred.
• Familiar with Windows systems and printers; basic LAN/WLAN networking.
• Experience with Office 365, Windows Server, Exchange and related apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and maintains computer and peripheral equipment at main facility and off-site locations.
• Monitors and responds to internal help desk requests to ensure quality service.
• Configures and prepares new equipment for deployment to agency standards.

Salary: $19.67-20.95

Position Overview:

Join our team as a PC Technician and play a key role in keeping The Arc Ontario's technology systems running smoothly. You'll provide hands-on support for computer hardware, software, and networks across multiple locations, while also assisting staff with troubleshooting and training. From setting up new equipment to maintaining servers and supporting audiovisual systems, your work will directly support our mission-driven team. Schedule:

Full time M-F 8am to 4pm; Flexibility in schedule required to meet agency needs.

• Troubleshoots and maintain computer and peripheral equipment at the main facility and off-site locations.

• Configuring and preparing new equipment for deployment to current agency standards.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience working in hardware and software support, and or some combination of customer service and relevant educational experience is preferred.
• Must be familiar and comfortable working with and troubleshooting Windows systems, printers of various types and should be familiar with the basics of LAN/WLAN networking and device hardware repair.
• Will be required to obtain experience in current Windows desktop operating system, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Exchange and other similar applications.
• Office 365, Windows server, AV gear, Active Driectory, Microsoft Entra/Identity, MDM platforms, website building/maintenance, customer service, and working in HIPAA/FERPAA compliant environments are all a plus.
