Job summary

Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking a PC/Equipment Support Technician to plan, install, configure, and maintain workstations and peripherals. You will manage inventory, document systems, and assist in implementing standard office environments.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree in CS or related field, plus A+ or MCP certification. Experience in desktop support, Windows OS, Exchange, and networking is required. The role is on-site within Michigan's education system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in computer science or related field preferred.
• A+ and/or MCP certification required; higher education/experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure and maintain PC workstations and peripherals.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of workstations.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve problems.
• Assist with district-wide Common Office Environment guidelines.
• Coordinate maintenance agreements and warranty coverage.
