Job summary

Insight Global in Spring, Texas is seeking a Hardware Failure Analysis Engineer to work onsite in a lab environment. You will perform triage and failure analysis on PC devices, inspecting at system, sub-system, and component levels.

You will diagnose root causes, report findings to management and engineering, and support corrective actions. The role requires experience with schematics, electrical debugging, and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and X-Ray/CT.

Qualifications

• Failure/root-cause analysis on PC devices to component level.
• Ability to read schematics and board layouts.
• Strong electrical debugging techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, digital microscopes, X-Ray/CT.

Responsibilities
