Job summary

The role includes troubleshooting user problems via phone and email, imaging computers, installing software and drivers, and ensuring security protocols.

A Secret security clearance is required; after-hours support may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 2–4 years experience as PC Desktop Technician.
• Must have DoD 8570.01-M IAT I and AR 25-2 IT II certifications.
• CompTIA Security+ knowledge preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor computer equipment and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve user problems via phone and email.
• Maintain logs and turnover documents for shift handoffs.
• Perform imaging and re-imaging of computers.
• Install software updates and drivers; setup peripherals.
• Assist with after-hours support and training as needed.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality requirements.
