Job summary

KaiHonua, LLC is seeking a PC Desktop Technician II to operate and monitor computer equipment, perform routine maintenance, and assist users with hardware/software issues. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and proficiency with Windows 11 and Office 365.

Responsibilities include imaging, device setup, and after-hours support. Must be a US citizen with a Secret clearance; Rock Island, IL location. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience ok.
• 2–4 years as a PC Desktop Technician preferred.
• IT II and IAT I certifications required by DoD standards; Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine sequence of operations from production schedule.
• Prepare equipment by loading paper, printers, and plotters; initialize output.
• Start operations by entering commands and monitor processes.
• Maintain operations by addressing error messages and adjusting equipment.
• Document problems by maintaining production logs; resolve user issues.
• Provide after-hours support and rotating schedule as needed.
• Assist with training and guidance of others; manage ticket delegation and dispatching.
