Job summary

Illinois Farm Bureau is seeking a PC Deployment Intern to assist the IT project team with deploying and configuring end-user equipment including PCs, Macs, laptops, docking stations, monitors, and printers in a hybrid Bloomington, IL setting.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supporting service desk incidents, and gathering end-user feedback to improve deployment processes and technology experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in computer systems technology or a related field.
• Must be able to work full-time hours from late May 2027 to early August 2027.
• Graduation date of August 2027 or beyond.
• Experience with hardware and software support, troubleshooting, system imaging, hardware break-fix, refresh and deployment projects plus strong customer service.
• Experience with routine system administration tasks and logging data in admin logs.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks, including high availability systems.
• Knowledge of debugging protocols and processes.
