Job summary

Ritter Communications, headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is a large telecom provider serving the Mid-South. We seek an experienced Business Services Technician to install, maintain, and repair multi-line business voice and computing systems, including PBX and IP telephony services, across multiple sites.

This role includes site surveys, customer relations, and potential sales referrals. Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma with four years of related experience, NEC/CCENT/CompTIA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with four years of related job training and work experience installing and maintaining electronic key systems, PBX installation, and repair.
• NEC certifications and experience strongly preferred; Cisco CCENT, CompTIA A+ and Net+ certifications helpful.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains NEC, Nortel and Avaya PBX systems and associated equipment, including voicemail, facsimile terminals, paging and intercom systems.
• Installs, repairs and maintains IP telephony systems and integrated Access Devices.
• Performs moves, adds, changes and installations of telephone services for business customers.
• Locates trouble and performs quality checks at customer premises.
• Coordinates with other departments on service installations and billing updates.
