Job description

This seasonal position will end October 2025.

This individual is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort. The ideal candidate should have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude, and an excellent phone demeanor. The PBX Telephone Operator must handle a high volume of calls effectively and be comfortable answering questions related to the hotel.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Answer and direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously, including guest, internal, and external calls.
  2. Provide accurate information and assistance regarding hotel services, hours, local area details, and directions.
  3. Process wake-up call requests and deliver messages accurately and on time.
  4. Maintain an updated directory of employees, departments, and essential contacts.
  5. Respond to emergency calls and coordinate with security or relevant personnel as needed.
  6. Ensure guest information confidentiality and adhere to data privacy standards.
  7. Relay guest requests to appropriate departments and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  8. Monitor and maintain PBX equipment operation, reporting issues to IT or management.
  9. Keep logs of emergency calls, complaints, and relevant information accurately.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience.
  11. Assist with other front office duties as needed.
