Job summary

Grand Hyatt Kauai in Poipu, Hawaii is seeking a PBX Operator to join our Rooms Team. The role involves answering incoming calls, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor, and handling a high volume of inquiries about the hotel and its services.

We offer a 90 Day Probationary Rate of $23.73 per hour with an hourly rate of $27.92 per hour. Benefits include free room nights, insurance options, paid vacation and more. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple calls and guest requests simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills; familiarity with hotel systems is a plus.

Summary

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Rooms Team as a PBX Operator at Grand Hyatt Kauai located in Poipu, Hawaii.

This individual is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor. The PBX Operator must work well handling a high volume of calls and should be comfortable and able to answer questions relating to the hotel.

90 Day Probationary Rate: $23.73 per hour / Hourly Rate: $27.92 per hour
