Overview

Support the Front Office by providing superior guest service, addressing and resolving guest issues and requests received by telephone efficiently and promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Promptly answer calls, greet callers positively, and direct calls using a computer console. Sit in confined spaces for extended periods to perform duties.
  2. Transcribe messages, verify accuracy, and input or retrieve messages from the computer. Read and verbally relay messages to guests.
  3. Receive wake-up call requests, input into the system, and confirm times with guests.
  4. Page guests politely using the public address system.
  5. Act as dispatcher for security, guest services, and property operations, providing timely information via paging systems and radios during emergencies or guest requests.
  6. Answer basic inquiries such as time, extension numbers, and outlet hours.
  7. Immediately respond to emergency lines, identify issues, and respond per procedures. Document details as needed.
  8. Remain calm and courteous during emergencies or busy periods, resolving issues like missed wake-up calls or messages.
  9. Maintain regular attendance and perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to accurately use a computer system.
  • Ability to sit for long periods in confined spaces, working closely with others.
  • Effective verbal and written communication tailored to different audiences.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Compensation

Not eligible for tips or discretionary bonuses.
