Job summary

PIH Health Hospital is seeking a dedicated PBX Telephone Operator to route and screen calls, provide callers with information, and initiate hospital code calls as needed. The role requires teamwork, flexibility for different shifts, and weekend availability in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will have at least one year of PBX experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-service mindset to support patients, visitors, and staff around the clock.

Job description

The PBX Telephone Operator is responsible for routing, screening, providing information to callers and calling hospital codes. The Operator also must be able to work in a fast pace environment handling numerous callers during peak periods. Must be a team player willing to work different shifts and weekends as needed by the hospital.
