Envision is hiring a Principal Partner, Payroll Projects to lead strategic payroll initiatives, partnering with HR, IT, Finance, and Operations to define requirements, govern programs, and deliver scalable payroll solutions. This role focuses on process improvements, data integrity, and governance across multi-state operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll transformation, HRIS projects, payroll system enhancements, or cross-functional HR/payroll initiatives.
• Experience in a multi-state, multi-entity, high-volume payroll environment.
• Payroll certification or relevant professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Payroll, HRIS, HR, IT, and business leaders as a payroll SME on strategic initiatives and governance.
• Advances HR and enterprise priorities by aligning payroll requirements and analyzing data to drive improvements.
• Evaluates and optimizes payroll processes, systems, controls, and reporting for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborates with HRIS and technology partners to translate payroll needs into system requirements and procedures.
• Oversees project planning, timeline development, milestones, risk escalation, and stakeholder updates.
• Leads governance routines, workstream meetings, decision documentation, and status reporting.
• Develops and maintains payroll process documentation, SOPs, test scripts, training materials, and controls.
• Oversees data readiness, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and QA for payroll projects.
