Vaco by Highspring is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Timekeeping Clerk to support a high-volume payroll and timekeeping function in Westerville, OH. This 100% onsite contract role focuses on reviewing, processing, and correcting employee timecards to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll or timekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage a high volume of detailed and repetitive work.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
• Curious, inquisitive, and willing to learn new processes.
• Able to prioritize urgent issues and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• No degree required.
• Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Westerville, OH.

Responsibilities

• Review and process approximately 400-1,000 timecards per week.
• Make corrections and adjustments to employee timecards, including historical timecard corrections.
• Review timekeeping issues and determine priority based on urgency and potential impact to employee wages.
• Process a variety of timecards, including union and driver timecards.
• Handle time-sensitive payroll issues requiring quick turnaround.
• Support timekeeping activities for employees throughout the U.S. and Canada.
• Research discrepancies and ensure timecard information is accurate.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to timekeeping adjustments.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize, review, and track information.
• Work closely with team members to resolve questions and timekeeping issues.
