Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage and reconcile payroll-related entries within the general ledger.
• Prepare and file tax reports, including payroll taxes, income taxes, and other relevant filings.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations and updates.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to maintain accurate financial records related to payroll and taxes.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation related to payroll and tax activities.
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and payroll regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Support internal teams with payroll and tax-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
