You will handle routine tax processing under supervision, follow documented procedures, and contribute to data accuracy and timely submissions across federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of relevant experience in payroll operations, payroll tax processing, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems, spreadsheets, and financial software applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and learn new processes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned tax processing tasks including payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and payment submissions under supervision.
• Deliver accurate resolution of routine tax notices and penalties by following documented procedures and knowledge-base guidance, escalating anything outside scripted scenarios.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance activities by reviewing records and verifying data accuracy.
• Contribute to customer service excellence by responding to basic tax-related inquiries from internal teams and external customers.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of tax forms and amendments according to federal, state, and local requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to support cross-functional tax processing workflows and meet operational deadlines.
