Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and experience with large ERP software.
• Ability to work with multiple levels of management.
• Experience with payroll tax principles and filings.
• Knowledge of multistate US payroll tax compliance.
• W2 processing, notices, and resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure payroll tax compliance across governmental, regulatory and legislative requirements through quarterly filings and tax jurisdictions.
• Prepare W2C documentation and adjust wage/tax for various tax authorities.
• Handle quarterly error and adjustment entries in Workday.
• Research agency notices and respond to tax authorities.
• Manage visa tax requirements and related documentation.
• Audit state reciprocal agreements and update tax elections as needed.
• Provide resolutions for payroll tax discrepancies and explanations of W-2s.
• Support M&A projects with new account setups and related forms.
• Back up mail handling and special payroll tax projects.
