Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive experience supporting automated financial operations center projects.
• 1+ years of tax and financial administration experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong Excel, analytical and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong project management and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer multi-state payroll tax compliance with emphasis on state/local requirements.
• Review payroll tax filings submitted to IRS and state agencies monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Stay current on payroll tax laws and ensure W-2 reporting accuracy.
• Calculate, document, and validate payroll tax files and remittances.
• Manage year-end reporting processes and respond to tax notices.
• Collaborate with tax agencies and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
