Job summary

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is seeking a Payroll Systems Associate to ensure payroll and timekeeping systems run smoothly across the ministry. You will maintain and improve system functionality and collaborate with IT and outside vendors to optimize biweekly payroll processes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least three years of payroll/support experience, exceptional confidentiality, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Payroll and Timekeeping systems.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality of payroll and staff information.
• Knowledge of best practices in Payroll and Timekeeping.
• Specific knowledge of IRS and state payroll regulations.
• Number aptitude, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate clearly.
• Proficient use of office software, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supports payroll team by ensuring timekeeping and payroll systems meet ministry needs.
• Assists in designing, configuring and testing payroll functionality with IT and vendors.
• Runs reports, validates data, reconciles data, and prepares data for reporting to jurisdictions.
• Troubleshoots system questions related to biweekly payroll process.
• Collaborates with IT to identify fixes and system improvements as needed.
• Stays updated on compliance requirements across all states and with Legal as needed.
• Supports configuration and testing of tax updates and integrations.
• Configures reports to streamline payroll processes.
