Job summary

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is seeking a Financial Operations Assistant to support Accounts Payable and Receivable. This temporary role involves processing invoices, deposits, and routine research, with potential for regular placement based on performance.

Ideal candidates hold a 2-year accounting degree and at least 2 years of AP/AR experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with the organization’s financial systems.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Accounting or equivalent related education.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
• Experience with or capacity to understand BGEA’s financial systems including Microsoft Dynamics and Datahaven.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Accounts Payable items for payment comply with BGEA’s policies.
• Review team mailbox and route items as needed.
• Review AP items for proper coding and resolve questions before posting.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for timely payment.
• Assist AR Coordinator with daily deposit entries from various sources.
• Process Accounts Receivable deposits as needed.
• Provide backup support for AR processes.
