Job summary

Priority One Payroll is seeking a motivated Payroll Customer Service Specialist to join our team in the New York Capital District. The role emphasizes payroll lifecycle expertise, accuracy, and top-tier client service in a fast-paced office environment.

You will interface with ~250 clients daily, handling setup, processing, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with a collaborative team. Growth opportunities and certifications are available within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Must have payroll lifecycle experience and strong regulatory awareness.
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles and relationship-building.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and problem solving.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
