Job summary

Pavement Restorations, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead our payroll team, ensure accurate wage processing, and uphold compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will partner with HR and finance, support audits, and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting/finance, at least 3 years of payroll experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proficiency with ADP/Paychex/SAP. This is a full-time on-site role based in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, SAP, or similar systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the payroll team to ensure proper processing of payroll cycles.
• Ensure accuracy of payroll data including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Oversee preparation and submission of payroll reports and filings.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with HR and finance on payroll processes and policies.
• Support audits by providing necessary information and reports.
• Stay current with changes in payroll laws and best practices.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
• Train and develop payroll staff and provide performance feedback.
