Job summary

Pavement Restorations Inc. is seeking a Payroll Supervisor in Nashville to oversee payroll cycles and lead the payroll team.

You will ensure accurate payroll data, remain compliant with wage and hour laws, and collaborate with HR and finance on payroll policies and procedures. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field with at least 3 years of payroll processing experience and supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, SAP, or similar systems).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the payroll team to ensure proper processing of payroll cycles.
• Ensure accuracy of payroll data, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
• Oversee preparation and submission of payroll reports and filings.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Work with HR and finance on payroll processes and policies.
• Support audits by providing necessary information and reports.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and best practices.
• Identify, recommend and implement payroll process improvements and system enhancements.
• Train and develop payroll staff with performance feedback.
