Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, SAP, or similar systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the payroll team to ensure proper processing of payroll cycles.
• Ensure accuracy of payroll data, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Oversee preparation and submission of payroll reports and filings.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with HR and finance on payroll processes and policies.
• Support internal and external payroll audits by providing information and reports.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and best practices.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
• Train and develop payroll staff with performance feedback.
