Job summary

Crowley Maritime Corporation in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing with strong internal controls. You will mentor the payroll team, tackle complex issues, and uphold established procedures, validations, and approvals with accountability and customer service focus.

Expect 5+ years of progressive payroll experience and 3+ years of leadership, plus familiarity with multi-state payrolls, audits, and system

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including hands-on processing.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership or payroll supervisory experience.
• Experience with payroll controls, reconciliations, audits and issue resolution.
• Experience with multi-state payroll environments.
• CPP certification or equivalent payroll certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations to ensure accurate, timely processing and controls.
• Coach and develop payroll team; manage escalations and complex issues.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, HRIS and Treasury to resolve matters.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve processes.
• Support system enhancements, testing, audits, and training materials.
