Overview
JOB SUMMARY: The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire payroll process for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate submission and processing of payroll. This role involves conducting reconciliations, reviews, and audits of payroll records, and manages the Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Supervisor also handles managing the relationship with outsourced payroll services, compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws, and provides support to employees regarding payroll inquiries. The Payroll Supervisor reports directly to the Controller and plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the payroll function within the organization.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work for this role is performed in a home office and/or professional office and interacts with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities. Telecommuters are expected to have sufficient home office space that appears neat, organized, and professional when on video meetings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The individual will be subject to sedentary work with the majority of hours in a home office and/or professional office environment and will need to be able to quickly respond to a change in work demands. The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal. Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects (1-40 lbs.) are required.
