Job summary

Healthcare Nursing Center in Ohio is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee the entire payroll cycle, from data entry to payment processing, and to ensure timely, accurate compensation for staff.

You will collaborate with HR and accounting, stay current with tax rules, and manage vendor relationships while leading a small payroll team and maintaining compliance across regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with HR and accounting.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems; quick learners.
• Certifications in CPP/CPA or FPC/FPSA preferred but not required.

Payroll Supervisor

Are you an expert in payroll processing and management? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring accurate and timely payments to our employees? As a Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee the entire payroll cycle, from data entry to payment processing, and ensure seamless communication with our HR and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the payroll department, including data entry, processing, and record-keeping

• Coordinate and reconcile payroll processing with HR and accounting teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, banks, and other external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Perform complex payroll calculations, including taxes, benefits, and deductions

• Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, addressing questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner

• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices in payroll management

Requirements

• Experience in payroll processing and management
