Payroll/Staff Accountant Consultant

Required Skills:

• Extensive payroll processing experience, managing multiple legal entities
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, taxes, deductions, and garnishments
• Solid knowledge of general accounting principles, journal entries, and month-end procedures
• Proficiency with payroll systems (Paylocity preferred) and accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Discretion in handling sensitive information and confidentiality standards
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with BlackLine or similar financial close tools
• Previous involvement in SEC reporting or financial audits
• Knowledge of equity accounting and transfer agent processes

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-8 years of relevant professional experience, particularly with payroll and accounting functions

• Onsite in Cupertino, CA; no remote or hybrid options
• Immediate availability for interviews, with an expected start date around November 2, 2026
