Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for a large employee base, including hourly and salaried staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and internal policies.
• Reconcile payroll data, general ledger accounts, and prepare related journal entries.
• Administer timekeeping systems and ensure accurate recording of employee work hours, leaves, and overtime.
• Manage year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and related tax filings.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax information.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data for payroll processing.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise payroll software.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and wage and hour laws pertinent to manufacturing.
• Experience with time and attendance systems and their integration with payroll, particularly for shift-based and hourly employees.
• Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliation for payroll accounts.
