Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll for a manufacturing company with 500+ employees.
• Proven experience ensuring payroll tax compliance at federal, state, and local levels.
• Experience with timekeeping systems and payroll data reconciliation.
• Familiarity with month-end close processes and GL integration in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for a large employee base including hourly and salaried staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and internal policies.
• Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Administer timekeeping systems and ensure accurate recording of employee work hours.
• Calculate and process payroll deductions including benefits, garnishments, and 401k contributions.
• Generate payroll reports for management, finance, and other departments.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll-related matters.

• Experience with payroll reconciliation, general ledger integration, and month-end close processes in a manufacturing context.
