Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Payroll Associate to support accurate and timely processing of payroll using UKG and Kronos/WFM time systems in a fast-paced environment. You will handle new hire/termination data, respond to payroll questions, run reports, and ensure data integrity and compliance.

The role requires a BA/BS degree and about 2 years of payroll processing experience, with advanced Excel skills and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required or equivalent
• 2 years of payroll processing experience preferred
• Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational, prioritizing and time management abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service focus with internal/external stakeholders and vendors
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and conditional formulas

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state and multi-company payroll through UKG, including new hire/termination information and associate changes
• Address questions from associates and managers regarding paychecks, direct deposits, W-2s, and general payroll questions
• Run and prepare payroll reports for Payroll and other departments
• Prepare and administer payroll data imports/exports from Core HR and timekeeping systems into UKG for processing
• Perform audit checks to validate payroll accuracy (pre-check and post-check)
• Administer payroll escheatment and garnishment notifications
• Process special requests and off-cycle payrolls as needed
• Maintain compliance with payroll laws, withholdings and company policies
• Participate in projects with HCM HR and Finance, Benefits systems and payroll audits
• Provide backup support to team members and assist with payroll-related projects
