Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a payroll professional to support daily payroll reporting and onboarding, handling high-volume processing for multistate employees. The role emphasizes accuracy, UKG system proficiency, and timely payroll distributions.

Responsibilities include validating new hires during peak periods, processing garnishments, and addressing employee inquiries with strong communication skills. Onsite work in a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high volume payroll experience.
• Strong payroll systems knowledge; UKG experience preferred/required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Assist with payroll support related to an upcoming company move.
• Process multistate payroll for approximately 1,500–2,000 employees.
• Handle Personnel Action Requests: new hires, salary changes, bonuses, transfers, terminations, retro pay, and benefits adjustments.
• Process garnishments (child support, tax levies, etc.).
• Generate and distribute manual payroll checks accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees and management.

Hours: Full-time (start between 7a - 9a)

Overview of Responsibilities

• Support daily payroll reporting and employee onboarding
• Validate new hires (up to 200/day during peak periods)
• Assist with payroll support related to an upcoming company move
• Use UKG payroll system (highly preferred; strongly desired at start)
• Process multistate payroll for approximately 1,500–2,000 employees
• Handle Personnel Action Requests: new hires, salary changes, bonuses, transfers, terminations, retro pay, and benefits adjustments
• Process garnishments (child support, tax levies, etc.)
• Generate and distribute manual payroll checks accurately and timely
